Vol. 6: The living room we live in
XYZ is a collection of text, illustrations, photographs, art, drafts, video, music and anything else which could possibly be represented on paper. Every volume of XYZ is made by a new group of collaborators who on Friday start with nothing except a theme. The next 24 hours, everyone works on new things for one or more A4’s for the magazine, of which we print, bend, bind and share 100 copies the same day. You are free to choose what to produce and publish, as long as it is made within the 24 hours of the project. Text or video? Building an installation and making 3D-scans of it? Interested to join, but no idea what exactly you want to do? Everything is possible!
THEME
The sixth edition of XYZ is all about the living room.
Over the past weeks, our living rooms became the place we actually live. It is now both an office, restaurant, bar, gym and place for recreation. By spending so much time in one space, you might see it from a new angle (both literally and figurally). For the sixth edition of XYZ, we invite you to join a collaborative effort to map our new relationship to the living room we live in.
